Eligibility Criteria (as on 25.03.2026)

2. Essential Educational Qualifications

  • Legal Assistant (801/26): Degree in Law from a recognized university. 1 to 3 years of experience as a Legal Practitioner/Advocate depending on the specific department rules.
  • Assistant Engineer Civil (802/26): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.
  • Junior Engineer Civil (803/26): Degree in Civil Engineering OR Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Grade-II (GNCTDSS) / ASO (804/26): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from any recognized University. Basic computer knowledge is desirable.

Selection Process & Exam Scheme

DSSSB will conduct separate examinations for each post code. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer (for 1 mark questions) and 0.50 marks (for 2 marks questions).
