Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (As on 01.07.2026)
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2026. (i.e., they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than July 01, 2005).
- Upper age limit shall be greater by five (5) years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., and Other Backward Classes of U.P.
- For Persons with Disabilities (PwD) of U.P., the upper age limit is relaxed by 15 years.
2. Educational Qualifications
For the general post of Samiksha Adhikari (RO), candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

Selection Process & Exam Scheme
The selection will be based on the following competitive stages:
Minimum Efficiency Standard: Candidates must secure at least 35% (for SC/ST) and 40% (for other categories) in the Preliminary/Main examinations to be considered eligible for the next stage or final selection.
How to Apply Online
- Mandatory Pre-requisite: Ensure you have completed your One Time Registration (O.T.R.) at otr.pariksha.nic.in and obtained your O.T.R. number. Do this 72 hours before applying.
- Visit the official UPPSC website: uppsc.up.nic.in.
- Navigate to “ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ ADVERTISEMENTS” and click on “Apply” against the Samiksha Adhikari/Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari examination.
- Authentication: Click ‘Authenticate with O.T.R.’, enter your O.T.R. number, and authenticate via OTP to fetch your basic details.
- Form Completion: Proceed to the ‘Applicant Dashboard’ and click ‘Submit Details’ under ‘Application Part-2’. Choose Yes/No for required preferential qualifications.
- Payment: Pay the required examination fee via the integrated SBI MOPS portal. Retain a printout of the ‘Payment Transaction Slip’.
- Final Submission: After successful fee payment, confirm and submit the final application. Save a printout for your records. Do not send any hard copy to the commission at this preliminary stage.
