Job Location
The job locations will be at OIL, Field Headquarters, Duliajan, and other remote/far-flung OIL installations in the production and exploration areas of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Selection Process
The selection process will primarily consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT). Key points:
- The CBT will have qualifying marks: 50% for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS posts and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD posts.
- The question paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.
- The CBT will be bilingual (English & Assamese) for all post codes, except SAH12025 (English & Hindi).
- Total duration of CBT will be 02 (two) hours.
- No negative marking.
- The CBT will comprise three sections:
- Section A (20%): General English & General Knowledge/Awareness and Questions on Oil India Limited.
- Section B (20%): Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability.
- Section C (60%): Domain or Relevant Technical Knowledge based on the prescribed qualification.
