SECR Railway Apprenticeship 2025

SECR Railway Apprenticeship 2025: The South East Central Railway (SECR), under its initiative for Skill India, has announced its notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2025-26. railway apprenticeship for secr apprenticeship.

Educational Qualification: Minimum 50% marks in matriculation and possession of a National Trade Certificate in relevant trades.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 15-24 years of age as of April 5, 2025. Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST, OBC, Divyang (PWD), and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government norms.

  1. Selection Process:
    • Selection is based on a merit list that combines marks from matriculation and ITI qualifications.
    • Candidates with higher age will be preferred in cases of ties.
  2. Training Period and Stipend:
    • Training will last for one year, with monthly stipends of ₹7,700 (for 1-year ITI courses) and ₹8,050 (for 2-year ITI courses).
  3. Additional Details:
    • Candidates must bring a government-authorized medical certificate during document verification.
    • Ex-Servicemen, Divyang, and special category reservations apply as per government rules.

  2. Create an Account (if not already registered)
    • Click on “Register” and fill in the required details to create your account.
    • Provide a valid email ID and mobile number for communication.
  3. Log In
    • Once registered, log in to your account using your credentials.
  4. Complete Your Profile
    • Fill in all personal, academic, and ITI (Industrial Training Institute) details accurately.
    • Upload scanned copies of your certificates, such as matriculation marksheet, ITI certificate, Aadhaar card, and other relevant documents.
  5. Search for SECR Apprentice Program
    • Use the Establishment Code provided in the notification:

  6. Apply to the Program
    • Select your preferred division (Nagpur Division or Motibagh Workshop) and trade.
    • Carefully review your application before submitting it. Incorrect or incomplete submissions may lead to rejection.
  7. Submit the Application
    • Submit your application online before the deadline: May 4, 2025 (11:59 PM).
  8. Save Registration Number
    • After submitting, you’ll receive a registration number. Save or note this number for future communication.
  9. Document Verification
    • If shortlisted, you’ll need to attend a document verification session and present the required original certificates.
    • Ensure you have a Government-approved Medical Fitness Certificate during this stage.
