Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit 2026

1. Age Limit

Candidates must meet the standard upper age requirements set by NGEL.

• Upper Age Limit for DGM: 44 Years.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. of India rules for reserved categories.

2. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications from a recognized University/Institution:

• Deputy General Manager (RE): Graduate in Engineering (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Civil / Mechanical / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication) with a minimum of 60% marks.

3. Experience Profile

This is a senior-level requirement demanding extensive industry expertise.

• Required Experience: Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience.
• Domain Expertise: Out of the 12 years, at least 10 years should strictly be in the field of Renewable Energy (Solar and/or Wind and/or BESS).

Salary & Pay Scale
