Salary Structure

Eligibility Conditions for SSF Recruitment

• Constable (Barber): Between 18 to 23 years.
• Constable (Washerman): Between 18 to 23 years.
• Relaxation: Standard age relaxations will be applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories where vacancies are specifically allotted (e.g., SC and OBC for Washerman).

2. Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Constable (Barber):
  i) Matriculation ($10^{th}$ Pass) or equivalent from a recognised School or Institution/Board.
  ii) Candidates will have to pass a Trade Test in the profession.
• Constable (Washerman):

Selection Process for SSF Constable

The selection process will be comprehensive and consist of the following stages in sequence:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): To evaluate the physical fitness and measurement standards of the candidates.
2. Written Examination: Candidates qualifying in the physical tests will undergo a written exam.
3. Trade Test: A practical test to evaluate proficiency in the respective trade (Barber/Washerman).
4. Verification of Original Documents: Checking of all educational, age, and category certificates.
5. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Review Medical Examination (RME): Medical Examination will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and ARs issued vide MHA U.O. No. A.VI-1/2014-Rectt (SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and 24.08.2015 and as amended from time to time.
