Pay Scales, Emoluments & Other Financial Benefits
The selected candidates will join as Executive Trainees in the E2 level with a pay scale of ₹50000-3%-160000. In addition to the basic pay, the Executive Trainees will be entitled to various allowances including IDA, HRA, Company Leased Accommodation, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Reimbursement, Leave Encashment, Performance Related Pay, and Medical Facility for self & dependents as per company rules.
Upon successful completion of the 01-year training period, the Executive Trainees will be regularized as Engineer/Officer in the same pay scale with a 3% increment. Further career progression will be guided by the applicable Promotion Policy of SJVN.

All degrees and qualifications must be full-time regular courses, except for CA/ICWA-CMA qualifications. They must be from a recognized institute or university in India, approved by statutory authorities like UGC or AICTE. No equivalent qualifications will be considered, and candidates with a 5-year integrated B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech. dual degree in the relevant discipline are also eligible.
Candidates need 50% marks for SC/ST/PwBD categories and 55% for others to apply, except for CA/ICWA-CMA where a pass is sufficient. Marks percentages are based on institute or university norms, and rounding (e.g., 54.99% to 55%) is not allowed.
For degrees with CGPA/OGPA/CPI or letter grades, candidates must provide proof of equivalent percentage marks as per university norms. This proof is required during the interview and group discussion. Final-year candidates are eligible if they submit their final consolidated marksheet by 31.07.2025.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The weightage of each stage is as follows:

The Computer Based Test will be 2 hours in duration and will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be two sections: Section-I will have 120 MCQs from the relevant discipline/subject, and Section-II will have 30 MCQs on General Ability, Logical Reasoning, Intelligence Test, etc. The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking.
