RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2025

The RRB Group D selection process involves the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT):

  • Mode: Online
  • Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by a scribe)
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Subject-wise distribution of questions and marks:
    • General Science: 25 questions, 25 marks
    • Mathematics: 25 questions, 25 marks
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions, 30 marks
    • General Awareness and Current Affairs: 20 questions, 20 marks

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for PET. This test is qualifying in nature, and the standards for male and female candidates are as follows:

3. Document Verification:

Candidates who qualify in the PET will be called for Document Verification. They will need to produce original documents along with self-attested photocopies in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualification, community, disability (if applicable), etc.

4. Medical Examination:

Candidates who clear the Document Verification will have to undergo a medical examination to assess their fitness for the posts. The medical standards vary for different categories of posts.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2025

The selection process for RRB Group D involves the following stages:

  1. First Stage CBT: Candidates have to appear for the Computer Based Test.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates qualifying in the CBT are called for PET, which is qualifying in nature.
  3. Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in PET are called for Document Verification.
  4. Medical Examination: Finally, candidates who clear Document Verification have to undergo a medical examination.
