NCERT Recruitment 2025 Notification: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has officially released the detailed notification (Advertisement No. 01/2025/Non-Academic) for the recruitment of 173 Non-Academic Personnel. This is a massive recruitment drive aiming to fill various Group A, B, and C posts through Direct Recruitment via Open Competitive Examination, Skill Tests, and Interviews.
The selected candidates will be posted at various prestigious NCERT establishments across India, including:
- NIE – National Institute of Education, New Delhi (NCERT HQ)
- CIET – Central Institute of Educational Technology, New Delhi
- PSSIVE – Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education, Bhopal
- Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, Nellore, and Shillong (NERIE).
- RPDCs (Regional Production-cum-Distribution Centers) at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Guwahati, and Kolkata.

3.NCERT Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as on the closing date of application (16.01.2026). Below are the qualifications for some of the most popular posts:

Age Relaxation (As per GoI Rules):
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years

- NCERT Employees: One-time no age bar relaxation.
- Govt. Civilian Employees: Up to 40 years (UR) / 45 years (SC/ST) for Group C posts (with 3 years service).
4.NCERT Recruitment 2025 Application Fee
Candidates must pay the fee online via the CCAvenue gateway (Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI). Fees are non-refundable.
Level 10-12 Posts: ₹ 1500/- per post
Level 6-7 Posts: ₹ 1200/- per post
Level 2-5 Posts: ₹ 1000/- per post
5.NCERT Recruitment 2025 Important Dates
6. Selection Process
The NCERT selection process is rigorous and varies based on the level of the post applied for. The provisional merit list will be drawn based on marks scored in the CBT/Written Test.
- Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Test: This is the primary mode of selection for all Group B and C posts. It assesses the candidate’s subject knowledge and general aptitude.
- Skill Test / Trade Test:
- LDC: Typing Test on Computer (35 wpm Eng / 30 wpm Hindi).
- Film Assistant/Floor Asst/Cameraman: Practical Skill Test.
- Carpenter/Painter/Driver: Relevant Trade/Driving Test.
- Interview: Applicable for Group A posts (like Superintending Engineer, Production Officer) and select Group B posts requiring high-level interaction/expertise.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates (Mark sheets, Caste Certificates, NOC for Govt employees) for verification.
Note: Examination Centres will be in all major states/UTs of India. However, NCERT reserves the right to allot any centre irrespective of choice.
7. How to Apply Online Step-by-Step
Candidates are advised to keep their Scanned Photo (100-200KB) and Signature (100-200KB) ready before applying.
Visit www.ncert.nic.in > Announcement > Vacancies > Non-Academic. Click on the registration link. Enter valid Email and Mobile Number to receive User ID and Password.
Login with the credentials. Fill in Personal Details, Communication Details, and Qualification Details carefully. Once submitted, details cannot be edited.
Upload scanned Passport size Photo (not older than 3 weeks), Signature, and relevant Certificates (Caste, 10th, Experience, etc.) in PDF/JPG format (100KB-1MB).
Proceed to the payment gateway (CCAvenue) and pay the applicable fee. Don’t refresh the page during payment.
After successful payment, the form will be auto-submitted. Take a printout of the Application Form and Payment Receipt for future reference. Do NOT send hard copies to NCERT.
