ISRO SDSC Age Limit

The age limit for various posts as of the closing date (14.11.2025) is as follows:

  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: 18 – 30 years
  • Technical/Scientific Assistant: 18 – 35 years
  • Technician/Draughtsman-B: 18 – 35 years
  • Fireman ‘A’: 18 – 25 years
  • Cook / Driver: 18 – 35 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

ISRO SDSC Selection Process

The selection process is tailored for different posts and includes the following stages:

  1. Written Test (CBT): For all posts, across various cities.
  2. Skill Test: Qualifying in nature for technical posts.
  3. Interview: For Scientist/Engineer posts.
  4. Physical Tests: For Fireman ‘A’ post.

💰 Application Fee (Refundable)

An initial processing fee is required, which is refunded to candidates who appear for the written test. This makes the application virtually free for many categories.

  • Effective Fee (UR/OBC/EWS): ₹250/- (₹500 Refund)
  • Effective Fee (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM): ₹0 (Full Refund)

For Technician/Driver/Fireman Posts

  • Initial Fee: ₹500/-
  • Effective Fee (UR/OBC/EWS): ₹100/- (₹400 Refund)
  • Effective Fee (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM): ₹0 (Full Refund)
