Selection Process
The selection process for the IB ACIO-II/Exe Examination 2025 involves three tiers:
- Tier-I Exam: This is a written objective type examination of 100 marks, consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divided into 5 parts. There is a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer. Minimum cut-off marks for Tier-I are UR-35, OBC-34, SC/ST-33, EWS-35.
- Tier-II Exam: This is a descriptive type paper of 50 marks, comprising Essay, English Comprehension, and Long answer type questions. Candidates must secure a minimum of 33% marks (17 out of 50) in Tier-II.
- Tier-III/Interview: This round carries 100 marks.
A final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III/Interview. Final selection is subject to successful completion of Character & Antecedent verification and Medical Examination.
