Important Rules: A candidate applying against vacancy of one state will not be eligible to apply against vacancy of any other state. Merit list will be drawn state-wise and category-wise. Selected candidates will be posted within the selected State until completion of 9 years of service or promotion to SMG Scale IV.

1. Age Limit (As on 01.07.2026)

The candidate must be aged between 20 to 30 years as on the cut-off date.

Note: Age relaxations apply: SC/ST – 5 Years, OBC (NCL) – 3 Years, PwBD – 10 Years, Ex-Servicemen – 5 Years as per Govt. guidelines.

2. Educational Qualification (As on 09.08.2026)

  • Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from a University/ Institution recognized/approved by Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
  • The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate indicating the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation.

3. Post Qualification Work Experience (As on 09.08.2026)

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one-year post qualification work experience in Clerical/ Officer Cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Act, 1934.
  • One advance increment in pay shall be payable for each prior completed year of service to such selected candidates, who have worked as an Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks, subject to a maximum of 02 (two) increments.

4. Local Language Proficiency

Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing & speaking) in the specified local language of the state for which they are applying. Candidates who have not studied the local language as a subject in 10th or 12th standard will be required to appear in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
