Participating Banks & Vacancies

The recruitment is being conducted to fill Customer Service Associate (CSA) vacancies across various participating banks, including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India. Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

1. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026)

Candidates must typically be aged between 20 years and 28 years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2006 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years.
• Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried: Age concession up to the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.

2. Educational Qualifications (As on 21.08.2026)

Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualifications:

• Graduation: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
• Proficiency in the Official Language: Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Application Fees & Intimation Charges

The application fee must be paid online between 01.08.2026 and 21.08.2026. Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

• General / OBC / EWS candidates: Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST)
• SC / ST / PwBD / EXSM candidates: Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST)

Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The selection process for Customer Service Associates (Clerks) comprises an Online Preliminary Examination and an Online Main Examination. There is no interview for the Clerical/CSA cadre. Provisional allotment will be based solely on the marks obtained in the Main Examination.

Phase-I: Online Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary exam acts as a screening test. Candidates must qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

Phase-II: Online Main Examination

The Main Examination tests comprehensive aptitude and reasoning. The marks obtained in this phase are considered for the final provisional allotment.

How to Apply Online for IBPS CSA-XVI 2026?

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online mode. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the official IBPS website: www.ibps.in.
2. Click on the link for “CRP CSA-XVI” and then “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATES”.
3. Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register by entering your basic information.
4. Note down your generated Provisional Registration Number and Password.
5. Upload your scanned Photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm), Signature (not in capital letters), Left Thumb Impression, and a Hand-written declaration.
6. Live Photo Capture: You will also be required to capture and upload a live photograph using a webcam or mobile phone during registration.
7. Carefully fill in the rest of the application form details. Use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify details before final submission. Note that a modification/edit window will be available after registration closes, but it’s best to be accurate initially.
8. Pay the application fee via the integrated online payment gateway.
9. Print the e-receipt and the final submitted online application form for future reference.
