Selection Process

• JSA: Competitive written exam (Paper-I: Mental Ability Test, Paper-II: General Awareness & English Language) followed by a qualifying typing test (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi).
• JST: Competitive written exam (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension) followed by a qualifying stenography test (80 w.p.m., transcription: 50 min for English, 65 min for Hindi).
• Merit list based on written exam performance for candidates who qualify in the proficiency tests.
