CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026: 9,195 Tradesman & Pioneer Vacancies Out, Apply Online

The Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a massive recruitment notification for 9,195 Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) posts for Male and Female candidates. Apply online at rect.crpf.gov.in.

CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will conduct an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Indian citizens to fill up 9,195 vacancies. The CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 drive includes roles such as Driver, Motor Mechanic, Carpenter, Tailor, Cook, Bugler, Safai Karamchari, Mason, and Electrician. Eligible 10th pass and ITI candidates can fill out the CRPF Apply Online 2026 form from 20th April 2026 to 19th May 2026.

CRPF Constable Tradesman Notification 2026 Overview

This recruitment will be conducted on a domicile-based pattern. Vacancies are strictly earmarked State/UT-wise, meaning candidates must produce a Domicile/Permanent Residential Certificate of the State they claim in their application.

CRPF Vacancy & Salary Details 2026

A staggering total of 9,195 vacancies are available. The recruitment is divided into Technical/Tradesmen and the Pioneer wing. Details are as follows:

*Note: Technical & Tradesmen vacancies are State/UT wise. The 20 vacancies for the Pioneer Wing (Mason, Electrician) will be filled on an All India Basis.

Salary Structure

All Constable posts carry a Pay Scale of Pay level-3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100) as per the 7th CPC. Candidates will also receive standard CAPF allowances as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria for CRPF Constable

1. Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

• Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years. (Born between 02/01/1999 and 01/01/2005).
• Constable (MMV, Cobbler, Carpenter, Tailor, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Mali, Bugler, Painter, Cook, Barber, Washerman, Water Carrier, Safai Karamchari, Mason, Plumber, Electrician): 18 to 23 years. (Born between 02/01/2003 and 01/01/2008).
• Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 3 years after deduction of military service for Ex-Servicemen.

2. Educational & Technical Qualifications (as on 01/01/2026)

• Constable (Driver): Minimum Matriculation or equivalent AND should possess a Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License.
• Constable (Mechanic Motor Vehicle): Minimum Matriculation or 10th Class pass in 10+2 system AND possess a 2 years ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle with 1-year practical experience.
• Constable (All other Tradesmen): Minimum Matriculation or equivalent. Must be proficient and have worked in respective trades.
• Constable (Pioneer Wing – Mason/Electrician): Matriculation or equivalent. One-year experience in respective trades. Preference given to candidates having a certificate of trade from a recognized ITI.

The examination fee must be paid online. It is Non-Refundable.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The recruitment process will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification (DV), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Phase I: Computer Based Test (CBT)

• The CBT will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
• Duration: 02 Hours.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT:

Phase II: PST & PET (Physical Standard/Efficiency Test)

Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will undergo PST & PET.

Phase III: Trade Test & Document Verification

Candidates qualifying in PET/PST will undergo a practical Trade Test (Qualifying in nature: must secure 20 marks out of 50). This is followed by Document Verification where Domicile and Trade certificates will be strictly checked.

2. Read the detailed instructions and ensure you have a valid Domicile Certificate for the State you are applying from.
3. Register your personal and contact details to generate a Login ID and Password.
4. Re-login and fill out the comprehensive application form including your preferred Trade/Post.
5. Upload a recent color passport-size photograph (50 KB to 100 KB in JPG/JPEG format) bearing the clear date on which the photograph was taken. Applications without the printed date will be rejected.
6. Upload your signature and other required documents.
7. Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- (if applicable) through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit cards.
8. Submit the application and take a printout for your own records.
