Eligibility Criteria & Restrictions

1. Educational Qualification

  • Graduate Apprentices: B.E / B.Tech in the concerned discipline from any recognized University.
  • Technician Apprentices: Diploma in the respective Discipline from a recognized State Board.
  • Commercial Practice: Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board.

2. Passing Year Eligibility (Crucial)

CANDIDATES WHO HAVE PASSED OUT DURING THE YEAR 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 are only eligible to undergo Apprenticeship. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2021 are not eligible. Only candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible to apply.

3. Restrictions for Application

  • Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act are NOT eligible.
  • Candidates having one year or more experience from any institutions are NOT eligible.
  • Candidates in possession of sandwich course, certificates, private college degree, short term/certificate courses, or candidates pursuing higher studies are NOT acceptable.

Selection Procedure

The selection of apprentices will be strictly based on merit derived from academic scores.

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their respective Degree/Diploma discipline.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in Bengaluru. (Note: No Travelling Allowance will be paid).
  3. Final Panel: On successful completion of document verification, a final panel will be drawn based on the academic scores. The induction of apprentices will be made strictly based on their position in the panel.
  4. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates have to submit a “Medical Certificate” stating their fitness at the time of joining.
