Stream-wise Vacancy Details 2026

1. Nationality

3. Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply[cite: 11, 12].
• Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 APR 2027[cite: 11, 12].
• They must produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA)[cite: 11, 12].

4. Minimum Physical Standards

Training, Pay Scale & Allowances

Training

Selected candidates will be detailed for training at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya, Bihar[cite: 11, 12]. Duration of Training is 46 weeks (excluding term break)[cite: 11, 12]. Upon successful completion, all candidates will be awarded a ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Military Studies & Defence Management’ by Magadh University, Bodh Gaya[cite: 11, 12].

Pay & Allowances

• Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training: ₹ 56,100/- Per month (Starting pay in Level- 10)[cite: 11, 12].
• On Commissioning (Rank: Lieutenant): Level 10 (₹ 56,100 – 1,77,500)[cite: 11, 12]. CTC approx 17-18 Lac per annum (excluding free medical cover & travel)[cite: 11, 12].

Selection Process & SSB Interview
