Salary Structure
All the above posts carry a Pay Scale of Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100) in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC. Candidates will also receive Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other allowances as admissible in SSB from time to time.

- HC (Communication/Steward/Electrician/Veterinary): 18 to 25 years of age.
- Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 3 years after deduction of military service for Ex-Servicemen. Departmental candidates receive up to 5 years of age relaxation.
2. Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Head Constable (Communication): Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board OR Three years Diploma in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/IT.
- Head Constable (Veterinary): Intermediate (10+2) with Science (Biology/Zoology) from a recognized Board AND 1 year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital.
- Head Constable (Electrician): Matriculation or equivalent AND 2 years work experience in the respective trade OR 1 year certificate course with 1 year experience OR 2 years Diploma in ITI (Electrician).
- Head Constable (Steward): Matriculation from a recognized Board AND Diploma or Certificate in Catering Kitchen Management + 1 year experience in a reputed hotel.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
